Win7 do proxy server settings
Step 1: Open the control panel
First, click the "Start" button on the bottom left corner of the Windows taskbar and select "Control Panel".
Step 2: Go to Internet Options
In the Control Panel, find and click "Network and Sharing Center", and then click "Change adapter settings" on the left side.
Step 3: Setting up network adapters
On the Network Adapters page, find the network connection that you want to set up as a proxy server, right-click on it and select "Properties".
Step 4: Configure the proxy server
In the Network Connection Properties window, find the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" option, select it and click Properties.
Step 5: Set Proxy IP and Port
In the IPv4 Properties window, select "Use the following IP address" and fill in your computer's IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. Then fill in the "Preferred DNS Servers" and "Alternate DNS Servers" with the appropriate DNS addresses.
Step 6: Setting the proxy server port
In the IPv4 Properties window, click the "Advanced" button to enter the Advanced TCP/IP Settings window, and in the "IP Settings" tab, click the "Add" button to fill in the IP address and port number of the proxy server.
Step 7: Save Settings
After completing the above settings, click "OK" to save the settings and then close all windows. Restart the network connection to make the settings take effect.
